Introductory ActivInspire Training

The Introduction to ActivInspire course covers the basics of using ActivInspire in your classroom. Learn about how you can access the most useful resources and tools to get you up and running to create engaging flipcharts in no time at all!

Intermediate ActivInspire Training (Level 1 Certificate)

For those with some experience using ActivInspire who are ready to take the next step into making lessons more interactive.  Learn about the more dynamic features such as links and camera tools to increase lesson momentum and student engagement with media content.

Advanced ActivInspire Training (Level 2 Certificate)

For those teachers who have already completed Level 1 and are ready to learn about the more advanced features ActivInspire has to offer. Make your flipcharts sing with advanced actions and tools.  Learn techniques to differentiate learning and provide instant feedback to students.  Promethean Level 2 Certification is awarded on successful completion of an assessment component.

Literacy Spotlight (Level 1 Certificate)

Similar to the Intermediate ActivInspire program but with a focus on Literacy and languages.  Explore techniques for scaffolding understandings of text structure and language features using your Interactive Whiteboard.  Create templates for organizing thinking and making connections with texts. Suitable for teachers who already have basic skills in using ActivInspire.
Full day (9:30 am – 4:00 pm)

Numeracy Spotlight (Level 1 Certificate)

The Spotlight on Numeracy course focuses on the specific Interactive Whiteboard tools and techniques available to enhance teaching and learning in Numeracy. Similar to the Intermediate ActivInspire program but with a focus on Numeracy.  Find out how to use the Interactive Whiteboard as a tool to structure Inquiry and differentiate learning in Numeracy.  Suitable for teachers who already have basic skills in using ActivInspire.  Full day (9:30 am – 4:00 pm)

Centre of Excellence Workshop for School Leaders

The Lambourne Centre of Excellence Workshop has been designed for teachers with a leading role in the implementation and training of Interactive Whiteboards in their school.  Teachers will find out all they need to know to successfully lead and manage an Interactive Whiteboard program in their school including staff professional learning programs, hardware and software updates as well as the latest developments in the technology.  This course is based at one of the Centre of Excellence Schools which have been recognised by Promethean for their strong commitment to professional learning, research and curriculum design focusing on the ActivClassroom. Course includes instruction, hands-on practice, classroom observations and action planning.  Please Note: Basic skills in using ActivInspire are a pre-requisite for this course.

Learner Response Systems Workshop

Want to know what your students are thinking? This course covers how to use the ActivExpression, ActiVote and ActivEngage devices.  Learn about registering devices, creating effective questions using the new question editor and exporting and evaluating results for student assessment.
