MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Cleaning the Air Filter

Cleaning Air Filters Cleaning filters regularly allows a good air flow into the Projector, this keeps its internal components cool which prevents long term damage and prolongs the life of the lamp. Before cleaning the air filters, ensure that the equipment is switched off and cooled down to an appropriate temperature. It is recommended that this activity is carried out first thing in the morning.

There are two filters, one at the rear and one at the front of the unit, whilst the Projector is off remove the filters using a thumb nail and blow the dust out or tap into a bin, make sure the filters are put back in before turning the Projector back on.

Filters should be cleaned at intervals as follows.

Clean air conditioned environment – at least monthly Dusty / open window environment – at least fortnightly A good way to remember to clean filters is to set reminders in Microsoft Outlook or other computerised diary systems.

Failure to clean filters may result in the Projector requiring a service which is not covered under warranty.
