I’ve heard that Microsoft Windows 7 supports touch. Do I need a Windows 7 machine to be able to use ActivInspire 1.5?
No. ActivInspire V1.5 and above support multi-touch capability specifically when used with the AB500 Pro board from Promethean. If any of the operating systems supported by ActivInspire 1.5 – such as Windows 7 – are touch-enabled, you can take advantage of ActivInspire’s multi-touch capability when using with the AB500 board.
I don’t have a touch-enabled board. Can I still use ActivInspire 1.5 with my regular ActivBoard?
Yes. The multi-touch capability of ActivInspire only works if you have a touch-enabled AB500 board connected.
